The Event: "Walk for Alina"
A 2 mile walk and a silent auction immediately following to raise money to find a cure for neuroblastoma.  A T-Shirt, continental breakfast and water will be provided for registered walkers as well (***T-Shirts are adult sizes***).  All proceeds will benefit the Band of Parents.org to support research efforts at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where Alina is currently a patient. 

When: Saturday, May 22^nd, 2010.  Check in begins at 8am, walk begins at 9 and the silent auction will run from 8-11.  (Lots of great silent auction items!)

Where: Olsen Middle School, 330 SE 11th Terrace, Dania Beach, FL 33004

***You must pre-register by May 7^th, 2010 in order to receive a T-shirt.

• Today we are asking for your support.  Any donation for the event will be greatly appreciated. 
• How to become a Sponsor:  A donation of $200 or more will grant you the status of "Sponsor" and your name or business name/logo will be on the back of every 'Walk for Alina" t-shirt worn by everyone who registers for the walk.  To become a sponsor, please email Connie at connievf@gmail.com.  Type "Sponsor Request" in the subject heading and be sure to include your name and phone number in the body of the e-mail.  Your tax deductible donation in the form of a check may be written to the Band of Parents.org (Tax ID# 261227872).  Please DO NOT use the "Register 4 Walk / Donate" page to become a sponsor for the Walk For Alina. 

   Please give this your thorough consideration.  Each school day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer.  Together - Let's Cure Neuroblastoma!!!
